Process

I use a three-step process when developing a website. First, I begin by designing a “mockup” in Photoshop to represent the layout and the visual style I intend to achieve. I take into account the target audience, any existing marketing materials, and all available copy in order to create a design that accurately reflects the identity of your business or organization. After this concept is approved, I begin the second step: coding. During this part of the process I compress graphic elements for use on the web and hand-write code to create the backbone of the website. During step two I also integrate a content management system or blogging platform, such as WordPress, that will allow the website owner to update his/her site’s content. Finally, step three is integrating all of the site’s content and publishing it live to the web upon approval.
