"Every 15 Minutes" is a national anti-DUI campaign targeting high school students. This year I filmed and edited Helix High School’s promo video at the request of the La Mesa Police Department. The project involved shooting live footage across the city, while having the video edited and prepared for screening at the next day’s assembly. My goal was to create an engaging film that appropriately conveyed the impact of a DUI accident. The film brought tears to hundreds of high school students and reminded viewers of the consequences of irresponsible drinking. I was formally commended by the La Mesa Police Chief for my work and recognized “for creating an emotionally charged video that impacted hundreds of teenagers” by the LMPD.
